One time setup procedure for new employees


Before a new employee can sign into Google or Gmail with their district ID, they must first sign in on a Windows PC:


  1. Use their district username (DO NOT use their email address) and temporary password.

  2. They will then be required to create a new password.
    A. the password must be at least 8 characters long
    B. include both uppercase and lowercase letters
    C. include at least one number.

  3. They should keep private a record of their new password.


Once they have signed in on a PC, they can use their district email address and new password to sign into Google Chrome, Gmail and district Chromebooks.
