Troubleshooting Steps for the Student’s Aeries Account


Step 1


Try to sign in as the student. 


Make sure you are using the Student portal sign in page and not a teacher or staff login page. 


Check the web address:  

https://kermanusd.aeries.net/student/LoginParent.aspx


Make sure the top of the page reads “
Kerman Unified School District” 


Tip: The Student/Parent Aeries Login page has a plain white background, while the Teacher/Staff page will have a pictured background.



Student Username and password should follow this format unless changed. Username is the student 5 digit ID # followed by @Kermanusd.net 


Their default password would be the Student’s Date of Birth with the month abbreviated to the first 3 letters of the month and the first letter being capitalized. In this example, we are using November 6th, 2001


Username: Student ID # @mykusd.net

Example Password: Nov062001


If the student is unable to sign in, proceed to step 2



Step 2


Using Forgot Password


At the Student login page, click Forgot Password?

On the next screen, Type in the student e-mail and click next.


Check the student’s email for the e-mail code (Check Spam folder if necessary), if they do not receive an e-mail from Aeries after 5 minutes, Skip to Step 3



They can copy the code over or use the “Click Here” link to set a new password and complete the reset password process.


    *Recommend the student use the same password as their e-mail account password*

After they reset their password, they can return to the student login page and sign in with the new password.



Step 3


Create New Account

You will need the following information

  • Student’s E-mail address

  • Student ID #

  • Student Primary Phone number on file

  • Verification Code *Obtained by the school*


If using the forgot password did not work, the student most likely has not created an account yet. 



To create a new account, click “Create New Account”



Under Account Type, Select “Student” then click Next




Enter the Student E-mail and password and click next.





Check the student’s email for the e-mail code (Check Spam folder if necessary). They can copy the e-mail code over to continue or use the “Confirm This E-Mail Address” Link in the E-mail.






After they confirm their e-mail you can return to the student login window and login with their e-mail address and password.


First time logging in you will need to complete the student verification process.


You will need to enter the Student ID #, Primary Phone number on file, and Verification Code.


NOTE: the Verification Code is different from the E-Mail Code. To obtain this information, they will need to contact the school office or IT department.


After you successfully verify the student account, you can click the drop-down menu on the top left and select dashboard to go to the main page of their portal.
